My favorite is "Santa Claus is Coming to town." But the Grinch is a close second. I can't find either in the stores. I have to say, though, I find Rudolph disturbing. I won't let my girls watch it. His father and even Santa won't accept him because he's different, until they realize he can help them. Maybe I analyze it too much, but I just don't like the message it sends.
ReplyDeleteI'm a sucker for Charlie Brown! Really have to scour the guides to be sure not to miss it - there's just something too perfect in the anoemic little tree, the music and Linus with his soliloquy.
ReplyDeleteI'm sharing this via twitter --
I love Rudolph the best. The elf who wants to be a dentist and the Abominable Snowman make me smile. But do you remember the Christmas specials for the Donny & Marie show? I always loved them bringing out their family, which was MASSIVE, and singing Christmas carols :)
ReplyDeleteI used to LOVE Donnie and Marie --Especially their Christmas specials.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I'm trying it Gaele's way and we'll see if it works. I LOVE the Grinch. He's always been my favorite, but the Year Without a Santa Claus is a close second. I always liked Heat Miser and Cold Miser getting smacked down by their momma. ;)
ReplyDeleteCharlie Brown is our favorite

My favorite was Frosty the Snowman, loved when that show comes one during the holidays!
