I see her smiling and looking very happy & pretty and I think maybe I was just crazy. Maybe she wasn't that mean. Or maybe I did something wrong, but what? And so as I reflect on it, I'm reminded that usually the best way to resolve conflict is to talk. Maybe if I had gone to a school counselor, or tried to talk to her one on one, or maybe... I just don't know. I just wonder if it would have been different if I could have found out what sparked her dislike of me. <br /><br />To allude to my other story, I had a "reason" as lame as it was... maybe there was some sort of symbolic "rock throwing" that I did that set her off? Years later, I still don't know why she was so mean to me.
